Privacy
CreatorCon is produced by Australian Exhibitions and Media. This page says what creatorcon.com.au collects and why.
What we collect
If you join the ticket waitlist we keep your first name, email address, who you are (creator, brand, fan or industry) and any channel handles you add. If you ask for sponsor pricing we keep your work email and company. We use these to contact you about CreatorCon and nothing else. We do not sell them.
Applications for Creator Passes, speaking slots and stands happen on exhibitio.app, which has its own privacy terms.
Measurement tools
When they are switched on, this site uses three tools to count visits and see which pages and buttons lead to applications:
- Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, from LinkedIn
- Google Analytics 4, from Google
Each sets cookies or similar identifiers and receives the pages you view, the buttons you press (for example, apply or download) and technical details such as your browser and approximate location. We do not send them your name or email. The events are grouped by audience (sponsor, exhibitor, ticket, creator or speaker) so we can tell which messages work.
How to opt out
- Block the tools in your browser, or use a content blocker.
- Meta: adjust ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- LinkedIn: switch off ad personalisation under Settings, Data privacy, Advertising data.
- Google: install the Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
